daughters of Harris Uberstine (far left in this photo). Mayer, now second from left, is joined by his second wife, Gitel.  A $1 raffle ticket that won Harris an automobile caused him to embark, with a daughter at either side, on a celebratory sojourn to see his East Coast siblings.  For a photo of his visit to the Bronx to see his oldest sister, Toby, view the Ohio section on our history page.
